Happy New Year! (From LA to NOLA...)

Happy New Year, friends!

In the last two months, I traveled roughly 12,000 miles. I ate alligator, I rode in a sidecar, and I pulled more all-nighters than I'd care to admit. Suffice to say, situation normal. Here's what I've been up to...

1. I flew out to L.A., to act in a short film (currently titled The Manifesto of Michael Feldt ) with the wickedly talented Isaac Garcia. Really neat project to work on - it's an indie flick about a cult, + a man with a bomb. I'll say no more. Finished product should be available for viewing sometime later this winter, but in the meantime, enjoy some stills!

2. I performed Bicycle Face in Philly for a night (with the help of designer-genius Sara Outing, + the assistance of co-producer Classic Reinvention) in early November, before we embarked on a week-long tour of New Orleans! The show ran in the Razor's Edge Solo-Performance Festival. We had a blast sharing an updated version of the show with a fresh new audience. And New Orleans was spectacularistic. Footage coming soon! But in the meantime, enjoy a lil "how it all came together" video, to the right. And if you're on instagram, you can relive the journey at #bicyclefacenola.

3. Soon as we returned, (because we couldn't get enough of it), we performed a segment of Bicycle Face at BYO Muse, a curated evening of art and performance produced by Night Kitchen, centering on, well, THE MUSE. Shout-out to Jenna Spitz for putting this powerful ish together, and to all the rad rad other artists who performed.

4. I appeared as a guest in the final episode of Greg T. Nanni's web series, Bar 'N Tavern. I'll say nothing else. (Check out a truly horrifying photo, stage left. Sleeve tats ftw.) Oh, and check out Greg. Because he's the bees knees.

5. I've had the pleasure of participating in a series of devising workshops for a piece currently titled Solastalgia, led by the brilliant Michael Osinski. It's about climate change, the future, and, well.....The Muppets. Follow the project at #solastalgiaphilly. Ish is gonna be beautiful.

6. In early December, I performed (alongsgside some very lovely, very very silly ladies) in DIE CLOWNSHOW (die). It's exactly what it sounds like. (More info here.) Shout-out to lead artist Rebecca Schaffer. Check out her fierce company, Viscosity Theatre. They're making waves.

7. Over the past few months, I've had the privilege of shooting the first two installments of an installation art series by Emily R. Johnson, titled "A Series of Valuation by an Archivist." It's breathtakingly beautiful. Learn more about the project here, and check out some stills from the first installation here.

(And now, some upcoming things....)

8. Because Bicycle Face will never die, I'm taking it to my hometown! I'll be performing it for two night only at the Cotuit Center for the Arts this February. Deets on the Bicycle Face page, here. The performances will benefit two fabulous local women's organizations, WE CAN and Independence House. So if you're Cape-local, please oh please come and bring your friends and neighbors!

9. I'll be performing this Saturday at 2 pm in a reading (open to the public!) of an in-progress script by a brilliant high schooler, through Philly Young Playwrights's Paula Vogel Mentors Project. Learn more about PYP and this incredible program here.

10. And now, to be appropriately vague: I have a BIG NEW THING COOKING. And it's cooking inside of an EVEN BIGGER CONTAINER OF A THING. And that is all. I'll. say.

(Check back soon, folks. 2016 is gonna be massive.)
That's all for now. Love, love, love.
